Your responsibilities will be:

  • Independently manage a varied caseload of musculoskeletal clients with a focus on clear communication and clinical reasoning.
  • Running small group Clinical Pilates classes with an eye to detail and client goal attainment (training provided)
  • Communicating with other stakeholders (GPs, surgeons, PTs etc)
  • Be involved (with guidance and support) in activities to help build a referral network
  • Be actively engaged in weekly mentoring sessions with the practice principal

Are you looking to be part of a small business that gets to help people move well and fully engage in life? Are you looking for a job that values your contribution to the team?

Part time or full time position available

Key Responsibilities

  1. Represent the practice as the first point of contact, greeting clients and visitors at reception and answering all incoming calls and making client bookings.
  2. Provide administrative support to the clinicians such as managing mail, emails and preparation of documents and correspondence, managing stationary and supplies, photocopying, binding of documents and running errands as required.
  3. Liaise with clients to assist with completion of Health Assessment surveys, booking appointments, and assisting with enquiries.
  4. Update and maintain client files including preparing new files, scanning of documents, the filing of electronic and hard copy documents and archiving of closed files.
  5. Assist with delivery of workshops and seminars such as set up of room, providing refreshments, preparation of materials and presentations etc.
  6. Process all client payments and ensure the end of day procedures are completed.
  7. Ensure reception area, practice rooms and waiting area are maintained cleanly and tidily.
  8. Assist with the technical set-up of patient examination, e.g. instructing patients where to lie down, or initiating testing protocols.
  9. Assist with the coordination and invoicing of sub-letters and sub-contractors.
  10. Follow up with the list of weekly tasks and complete the procedural checklists.
  11. Social Media marketing and monitoring of up and coming events and promotions.

Key Capabilities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Some experience working in a health practice is an advantage but not essential
  • A personal interest in health and organic living is highly desirable
    Knowledge and Skills
  • Highly developed verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and organise work and self in a systematic, accurate and timely manner
  • Information Technology skills regarding proficient use of major programmes and packages
