Yes. You can claim a rebate for all services if you’re covered for physiotherapy. We can also make that claim for you directly at the time of consultation through our HICAPs machine. You’ll just need to bring along your private health fund card or your digital phone-based card.

You can expect to be listened to by our highly trained physios. We want to know what matters to you, what your goals are and what your preference is regarding how to best manage your symptoms.

Through the initial conversation, we pay close attention to the effect that everyday movements have on your symptoms. We use a series of questions that are aimed at understanding the nature of your symptoms and give us hints to a potential diagnosis.

This initial conversation then guides our physical examination. The physical examination involves assessing the effect that posture change, repeated movements and sustained positions have on your symptoms.

At the initial session we will discuss together the findings and give information about what the diagnosis is, expected timeframes of recovery, what we can do to help and what you can do to ensure a good recovery.
It is common for your physio to recommend an exercise to be tested between the first and second consultation. We guide you in how to do it and what sort of response to look for.

Our aim is for the whole process to be a shared exploration and we highly value your insights into your symptoms. Because after all no one knows your body better than you.

For Physiotherapy sessions it helps to wear comfortable clothes such as sports wear or clothes that you’re able to easily move around in.

The number of treatments varies depending on your condition/issue. This can range from 2-3 sessions for simple injuries to longer periods of time for more extensive rehab needs or complex conditions.

We will always discuss with you a plan regarding what’s needed to achieve your goals.

Cancellation Policy

Yes. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This lets us offer that time to another client who’s waiting to be seen.

Your first late cancellation won’t incur a fee — we’ll just let you know the policy so you’re aware going forward. Any late cancellation after that incurs a fee equal to the full consultation fee.

A full session fee applies to missed appointments, including the first time it happens. Because no notice is given, we’re unable to offer that time to anyone else.

We understand life happens. Extenuating circumstances are always taken into account — just let us know and we’ll work with you.

No. Late cancellation and missed appointment fees aren’t covered by health fund benefits — they’re payable directly to the clinic.
